Colt SP1 AR15 (pre-owned)

Pre-owned in good condition. Colt SP1 AR15, serial number dates this somewhere around 1983. The only unusual thing about it is it does not have a bayonet lug on the front sight. I have read a few references of other guns from this time frame coming with the same style front sight lacking a bayonet lug. The conclusion was Colt was using fixed front sight from a carbine model that came with that style front sight during that time frame. There are small scratches/rub marks in the finish on both sides of the magwell (see pics), aside from that, the gun is in surprisingly good condition for a gun that is nearly 45 years old. It comes with one Colt 20rd magazine and one GI style sling that are both Colt, but may or may not be original to the gun. The original grip has been swapped for a Lone Star Ordnance Stowaway grip which can go for nearly $100 themselves. Factory box and manual not included, but I am including a modern Colt manual and box.
